The game is good, a nice remake of the original game, however, there are a few issues. Animations are sometimes incorrect, which is a smaller issue. Two bigger ones, however, are the camera and the "demo" of the game: during a fight, if you move far away from your enemy, you have to wait for the camera to SLOWLY move towards you, which is a bit annoying. The other issue is, the game says you can go up to the 3rd tournament like in the original PC version, but after you win the 2nd, demo:s over.

The only improvement was the graphics. The power scaling is terrible. once you get any armor, the opponents automatically get too strong. And the percentages are way off. The only attacks that hit are 99% chance hits, and if it's anything less, the percentage isn't even right. Every 99% chance is 100% and if it's below 99%, it's literally 5%. And the tournaments are meant to be hard, but you're more likely to be put up against an opponent who outclasses you in everything instead of a match.

I loved it! Brought back a lot of nostalgia! There are a few problems I would like to address, though. 1). Gaining gold for higher level armor is a tedious grind but barely manageable. 2). Weapon balancing is a bit off. Swords are top tier. 3). Not sure if it's a game mechanic, but some of the champion's armor did not drop and went straight to health decline, making the fight incredibly easy. 4). The spikes on either side of the battlegrounds can be used (with enough strength) to "cheese" a fight. 5). Some of the new skills you can add to your gladiator are close to useless. Along with some other glitches within the battle, these are some of the game's issues, but over all, I love it love it love it.
